The Beta Updates page is where the PineHook team posts release notes, bug fixes, and small announcements while the platform is in beta. If you're a beta user, it's the spot to check for what's new. Short posts, no email noise, all inside the dashboard.

Finding the page#

While the beta period is active, Beta Updates appears in the dashboard sidebar with a megaphone icon and an amber BETA badge. A pulsing amber dot next to it means a new announcement is waiting. If the entry isn't there, the beta period isn't currently active on the platform.

PineHook doesn't track your reads. Your browser remembers when you last visited and shows the dot whenever there's something newer to see. Opening the page clears the dot, and any other tabs of the same browser catch up within a second.

Per browser, not per account

The "last seen" timestamp lives in your browser, so opening the page on your laptop doesn't clear the dot on your phone. Open the Beta Updates page once on each device or browser you use.

Reading the feed#

Each announcement appears as a card showing its title and publish date in UTC. Cards are collapsed by default. Click any card to expand it, and you can keep several open at once.

The feed shows the newest announcements first. A Load more announcements button at the bottom reveals older entries, and disappears once you've reached the oldest. On large desktop screens, a sticky outline labelled On this page lists every announcement in the feed; click any entry to jump to that card and open it.

Skim, then dig

Because every card is collapsed by default, the feed reads like a table of contents. Scan the titles to spot what's new, then open the ones that catch your eye.

What we post here#

We use Beta Updates to stay fully transparent with our beta users. Expect release notes, dev updates on what we're building, bug acknowledgements (with workarounds when we have them), policy and pricing changes, and anything else worth sharing while PineHook is in beta. You'll see progress and rough edges, not just polished announcements.

After the beta ends#

When the beta period closes, the Beta Updates page and its sidebar entry are removed. The content isn't archived publicly, so save a copy of any announcement that matters to you before access closes.
