Upgrading Your Plan
How to upgrade, downgrade, or manage your subscription.
You can change your PineHook subscription at any time from your dashboard.
Upgrading#
When to Upgrade#
Consider upgrading when you need:
- More license keys for additional MT5 terminals
- Higher signal throughput (signals per minute)
- A higher live pending-order cap per license
- Priority support response times
How to Upgrade#
- Go to Dashboard → Subscription
- Click Upgrade on the tier you want
- Review the prorated cost and effective date
- Review the changes
- Confirm your upgrade
Billing for Upgrades#
When you upgrade:
- Takes effect immediately
- You're charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your billing cycle
- Your next full billing cycle will be at the new rate
How proration works: you're charged the difference between the two plans, scaled to how much of your billing cycle is left. Upgrade halfway through the month and you pay roughly half the difference between your old plan and the new one. The exact amount is shown for you to review before you confirm.
Current prices for every tier are on the pricing section.
Downgrading#
Before You Downgrade#
Consider what you'll lose:
- Licenses - You may need to deactivate some licenses
- Lower limits - Your signal rate, daily cap, and live pending-order allowance drop to the new tier's limits
- Features - Some features may become unavailable
Your signal history is not affected by a downgrade. It's retained for 2 years on every tier.
How to Downgrade#
- Go to Dashboard → Subscription
- Click Downgrade on the tier you want
- Review the effective date
- Review what will change
- Confirm your downgrade
Billing for Downgrades#
When you downgrade:
- Takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle
- You keep your current tier until then
- Next billing will be at the new rate
Managing Excess Licenses#
If you downgrade to a tier with fewer licenses:
- You'll be prompted to choose which licenses to keep
- Select the licenses you want to retain
- Other licenses will be deactivated when the downgrade takes effect
License Deactivation
Make sure to update any EAs using licenses that will be deactivated, or they'll stop receiving signals.
Canceling Your Subscription#
How to Cancel#
- Go to Dashboard → Subscription
- Click Cancel Subscription
- Tell us why (optional)
- Confirm cancellation
What Happens When You Cancel#
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the billing period
- After that, your account becomes inactive
- Your account and its data are retained (they are only deleted if you explicitly delete your account)
- You can reactivate at any time
Reactivating#
To reactivate after cancellation:
- Log in to your account
- Go to Subscription

Your licenses and settings are preserved. When you resubscribe, your existing license keys (up to your new tier's limit, oldest first) are automatically reactivated, with no time limit.
